NP2023_The Evolving Open Access Landscape

<p>Slides from “How are APAC countries approaching national OA policies: what are they, how are they being promoted and implemented"</p> <p><br></p> <p>Description:</p> <p><br></p> <p>With the implementation of Europe-lead Plan S in many countries, the landscape surrounding open access to scholarly publication has entered a new phase. Furthermore, the issuance of the US OSTP memorandum in August 2022 is expected to further promote open access in the US as well. For countries in the Asia-Pacific region, it is important to consider what kind of national policy to adopt under these circumstances.</p> <p><br></p> <p>In this session, relevant organizations in the Asia-Pacific region will gather to introduce the efforts to promote open science in each country and share and discuss future issues to be considered.</p> <p><br></p>
